All Readers are asked to do their best to ensure that they are heard clearly by the Congregation:
1.   Please stand close up to the lectern and microphone.
2.   The new microphone is very sensitive and should not be adjusted.
3.   Speak into the microphone as clearly and as loudly as your natural voice
      allows.
4.   Please remember that the Person reading the 2nd Reading is also asked to read
      the Bidding Prayers.

Please note that the Hearing Loop, which enables those in the Congregation with hearing aids to hear what you are saying, will only work if you speak clearly into the microphone.
